SCLT does not store your lote number. For anti-abuse protection, the system sets a short-lived anonymous cookie in your browser and retains anonymised office-level consultation metadata. These records contain no personally identifiable information and are purged periodically. Compliant with Spain's LOPD and EU GDPR.
What is a lote and how do I read my result?+
Your lote is the batch number on your fingerprint receipt (resguardo). Offices advance in lote order. Your lote ≤ the published number → your card is ready or very close. Your lote is higher → you are in queue and the page shows an estimated wait.
How does SCLT calculate this? Is it official?+
SCLT tracks each office's lote movement and calculates the gap between your lote and the current one, showing you where you stand in the queue. This is not an official result — final confirmation is with your office.
My card is ready — what do I need for pickup?+
You must collect in person. Required: original passport, your previous NIE card (if lost, bring the police report), and an appointment booked on the official site (POLICIA - RECOGIDA DE TARJETA DE IDENTIDAD DE EXTRANJERO (TIE)). Your resguardo states whether an appointment is needed — usually yes.
